Unlike traditional conversion sites that upload your confidential files to remote servers, TrueJSON operates 100% client-side inside your web browser using native JavaScript and PapaParse. When you drag and drop, paste, or upload JSON and CSV files, all parsing, schema flattening, formatting, and downloads execute locally in your computer's memory. No payload content, row values, or personal data are ever uploaded, recorded, or stored on remote servers.
1. Information We Do NOT Collect
When using TrueJSON, you retain absolute ownership and control over your files:
- No File Uploads: Files and clipboard contents are never transferred across the network to our servers.
- No Cloud Storage: Data resides strictly in your browser's transient memory and is destroyed when you refresh or navigate away from the page.
- No Account Required: You never need to sign up, provide an email address, or create a password to convert datasets.
2. Local Execution and Browser Sandbox
TrueJSON runs inside your browser's secure sandbox. You can verify this independently at any time by opening your browser's Developer Tools (Network tab) or by disconnecting your internet connection before converting: TrueJSON will continue to parse, flatten, and export your files completely offline.
3. Cookies, Consent Mode v2 & Google AdSense
To keep TrueJSON 100% free with unlimited usage, we display non-intrusive ads via Google AdSense. In compliance with GDPR and Google Consent Mode v2:
- Advertising and tracking cookies are set to denied by default until you provide explicit consent through our cookie preferences banner.
- Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on user visits. You can manage your ad preferences via Google Ads Settings or opt out at aboutads.info.
- Anonymous aggregate analytics may be gathered to measure site performance and browser compatibility. No personally identifiable information (PII) is collected.
